You can return settings or recorded content to
the default or factory settings. There are some
methods to clear user data, and the situations
and the cleared content are different for each
method. For information regarding the content
that is cleared by each method, see the follow-
ing descriptions.
Method 1: Remove the vehicle battery

The settings and registered content are reset
to the default settings, except for the following
settings and registered contents.

All the settings and registered content are
reset to the default settings.

Restoring the default setting
1 Open the cover of the microSD card
slot.
Press the right side of the cover. The left side
of the cover pops up slightly, so pull it out
gently.
2 Press the Reset button.
Press the reset button on this product with a
pointed object such as the tip of a pen.

Resets various settings registered to this pro-
duct and restores them to the default or fac-
tory settings.
1 Press the Home button to display the
Home screen.
