Property Access Description
enc_key
R/W Encryption key to use for the next encryption process (IntelliPIN):
M for Master key
S for Session key
0-3 for lower working keys
A-J for upper working keys
enc_key_sn
R/W Serial number of encryption key. Used to specify key serial
number for activating/deactivating PIN encryption in MSK mode
and to return the key serial number in DUKPT mode. The key
serial number is specified in clear text (IntelliPIN).

Current encryption mode –
msk or dukpt (IntelliPIN).
entry_echo
R/W Specifies how to display the characters when entered from the
keypad on the LCD screen (IntelliPIN):
empty value to display as entered
(minus) to suppress display
$ to display as amount
The value of this property affects the operation of the read
key_string
command. By default this property is empty.
entry_len
R/W Maximum number of characters (1-32) to be collected with the
read key_string command. An empty value (default) for this
property converts to a length of 1. (IntelliPIN)
entry_tout
R/W Entry timeout: number of seconds (15-255) to wait for keypad
input. (IntelliPIN)
events_on
R/W
Set to
1 to enable unsolicited event notifications. The default is 0.
(PPINSERT)
invalcmdrsp
R/W
Invalid command response: set to
1 to enable responses to invalid
commands (useful during program development). This is set to 0
(disabled) by default.
key_parity
R/W
Set to
1 to enable parity check on encryption keys. (IntelliPIN)
lasterr
R Status from the last command sent to the driver. A successfully
executed command will reset this value to
0. This property is
useful for checking the operation of the set commands. After
each
set, the response to get lasterr should be 0.
max_pin_len
R/W Maximum PIN length (IntelliPIN):
1 – 16 for ibm format (IBM 3624)
4 – 12 for ansi format (ANSI 9.8)
msg1 - msg4
R/W Messages to show on LCD screen with various commands.
msg1 – used by the read and display commands
msg2 – used by the display and read pin commands
msg3 – used by the read pin command
msg4 – used by the key_press and key_string operations
To specify leading spaces, use \x20. See the display command
