6.12 Config uration Menu > Adjustment > Unit Configuration
General
In the unit c onfiguration adjustments panel, the user can define and adjust unit (device) specific parameters.
How to access to the unit configuration adjustments panel
1. Select the device (unit) you want to configure. Refer to the section “How to select device” in the system in the chapter "Configu-
ration Menu > System diagram area", page 79.
The device is selected. The device is highlighted in blue in the S ystem d iagram area and the name of device is indicated in the
Adjustment tabintheAdjustment area.
2. Click on the Adjustment tabintheAdjustment area.
The adjustment panel dedicated to the unit is displayed.
Description
System tab:
• Name: The name of the unit c an be edited here
• Contact info : User information for con tact person responsible for the u nit
• Unit Mode : Alway s 20M Pixels
• SW v ersion area: Unit’s SW version and the latest available SW. If the versions
are different the ‘Upgrade SW’ button will be lit to allow u sers to upgrade /
downgrade the SW on the V P.
• Resets (If the user selects one of the reset options, a c onfirm ation pop up will
appear) :
- S oft Res et : Resets the unit without erasing any s tored settings
- F actory (Full) : Full factory reset erases all s tored settings
- Factory (Save IP) : Full factory res et with the exception of keeping the
Ethernet setup
- Factory (Save IP & EDID) : Factory reset, but keep IP and Input EDID
settings
• Ethernet communication setup area
Setup tab:
• Unit ID: Unique unit identification number
• Front Panel: locks or unlocks the front panel.
• Front Panel VF D Brightness : Updates the br ightness of the front pa nel VFD
• Genlock
- Freerun
- Loc k to Ext B NC
• Genlock Status:
- N/A : W hen Genlock is set to Freerun
- Not Locked : When Genlock is set to Lock to Ext BNC but lock is not achieved
- Loc ked : W hen Genlock is set to L ock to Ext BNC but lock is achieved
• Black on Invalid video : If chec ked, whe n the input
timing on the video does not
match what was prev iously acquired on the input connector the video will be
set to black
