Other settings
1. Mark on the top line of the “Settings” menu. Press
OK

The sub-menu for other settings will appear. ✔
Setting the clock
You can set daylight-savings time, the current time, the display of the arrival or driving
time and select the time display format as well.
The current time is automatically set via the GPS signal. This is, however, a time
difference of one hour compared to Central European Time (CET) because GPS trans-
mits world time UTC. To make sure that the TravelPilot DX-V operates properly, it will
be necessary to correct this time difference manually.
1. Select “Clock”. Press
OK

The “Clock” menu will appear. ✔
2. Select “Time”. Press
OK
.
A menu to set the time will appear. ✔
3. Press to set the local time. Press
OK
.
The local time set will appear beside the menu item. ✔
The clock will not switch to daylight-savings time or standard time automatically; this
adjustment must be made manually.
4. Select “Dayl. sav. time”. Press
OK
.
Daylight-savings time has been selected when there is a checkmark next to
the menu item. ✔
5. Press to exit the menu.
