Preamplifi er output
(Preamp-Out/Sub-Out)
You can use the preamplifi er outputs
(Preamp-Out) of the car sound system to
connect external amplifi ers. In addition,
you can connect an amplifi er for operating
a subwoofer to the integrated dynamic low-
pass fi lter of the device (level and cut-off
frequency can be adjusted).
For this purpose, the amplifi ers must be
connected as described in the installation
instructions.
Adjusting the Sub-Out level
and Sub-Out cut-off frequency
(Subout)
The sub-out level can be adjusted in 8 incre-
ments (0 to +7). You can also select 1 of 3
cut-off frequencies: 80 Hz, 120 Hz, Hz and
160 Hz.
Press the MENU button A.
The menu is displayed.
Press the softkey "Audio Settings" 6.
The "Audio" menu is displayed.
Press the softkey "Enhanced" 9.
The "Enhanced Audio" menu is displayed.
Press the softkey "Subout" :.
The current settings for the Subout level
and the cut-off frequency are displayed.
Press the
or button > to select
the cut-off frequency.
Press the
or button @ to select
the increase for the selected cut-off
frequency.
