Setting the down sampling output
If the sampling frequency ofthe audio ismor e than
96 kHz,the audio outputted fromthe digital outputof
this unitcan be reduced to48 kHz. Normally, set the
down sampling outputto on.If this units digitalout-
put isnot used, there isno need tochange settings.
1 Move thethumb pad up ordown to selectSAM-
PLING OUTPUTin GEN.
2 Click thethumb pad.
Each timeyou click the thumbpad the selected
setting switches onor off.
Initial Settings
1 Press SRC/OFF and hold until the unit
turns off.
2 Press M.C. and hold until the initial set-
ting menu appears in the display.
3 Turn M.C. to select one of the initial set-
tings.
After selecting, perform the following proce-
dures to set the initial setting.
CLOCK SET(setting theclock)
1 PressM.C. to display thesetting mode.
2 PressM.C. to select thesegment of theclock dis-
play youwish to set.
Each timeyou press M.C., onesegment of the
clock display isselected.
HourMinute
As youselect segments of theclock display,the
selected segment flashes.
3 Turn M.C.to adjust the clock.
FM STEP(FM tuning step)
The FMtuning step employed byseek tuning canbe
switched between 100kHz, the presetstep, and 50
kHz.
! Ifseek tuningis performed in50 kHz steps,sta-
tions may betuned in imprecisely. Tunein the sta-
tions withmanual tuningor use seek tuning
again.
! Thetuning stepremains at 50kHz during manual
tuning.

AM STEP(AM tuning step)
The AMtuning step can beswitched between 9kHz,
the preset step,and 10 kHz. When usingthe tuner in
North, Central orSouth America, resetthe tuning
step from 9kHz (531 kHzto 1602kHz allowable) to10
kHz (530kHz to 1640 kHz allowable).

When Ever Scrollis set toON, recorded textinforma-
tion scrolls continuouslyin the display. Set toOFF if
you preferthe information to scrolljust once.

EVER (ever)OFF (off)

When V.OUT is setto ON, youcannot switchto
SCROLL.

Operating this unit
