SLA (Sourcelevel adjustment)lets you adjustthe vo-
lume levelof eachsource toprevent radical changes
in volumewhen switchingbetween sources.
! Settings arebased onthe FMvolume level, which
remains unchanged.
Before adjustingsource levels,comparethe FM
volume levelwith thelevel of thesource youwish
to adjust.
! The AMvolume levelcan alsobe adjusted with
source leveladjustments.

Note
When selecting FM as the source, you cannot
switch to SLA.
Initial Settings

1 Function display
! Shows the function status.
1 Press SRC/OFF and hold until the unit
turns off.
2 Press M.C. and hold until the initial set-
ting menu appears in the display.
3 Turn M.C. to select the initial setting.
After selecting, perform the following proce-
dures to set the initial setting.
Language select(multi language)
For yourconvenience, thisunit equips multiplelan-
guage display. Youcan selectthe languagebest sui-
ted toyour first language.

! ON –When USBstorage device/iPod iscon-
nected, thesource isautomaticallyswitched
to USB/IPOD.If youdisconnect your USBsto-
rage device/iPod, thisunit’s sourceis turned
off.
! OFF –When USBstorage device/iPod iscon-
nected, thesource isnot switchedto USB/
IPOD automatically. Pleasechange thesource
to USB/IPODmanually.
Warningtone (warning tonesetting)
If thefront panel isnot detachedfrom thehead unit
within fourseconds of turningoff theignition, awarn -
ing tonesounds. Youcan turnoff the warningtone.

AUX1/AUX2 (auxiliary inputsetting)
Activate thissetting whenusing auxiliarydevice con-
nected tothis unit.
