Selecting the tuner input source
1 Select the TUNER input source with »TUNER BAND« on the
hi-fi system or »
FUNCTION« on the remote control.
– Display: »
TUNER« and the frequency.
– The most recently selected station is played (Last Station
Memory).
– Display: the preset, the frequency and the station name.
Selecting presets in steps
1 Press »PRESET

« to move up and down presets one at a time.
– Display: for example, »
2« with the frequency or the station
name.
Selecting presets directly
1 Select presets 1 to 9 with the number keys »1« to »9« directly on
the remote control.
– Display: for example, »
8« with the frequency or the station
name.
2 Select presets 10 to 15 by first entering the tens with the number
key »
+10« and then the units with »0« to »5«.
– Display: for example, »
14« with the frequency or the station
name.
Stereo/mono reception
If the hi-fi system is receiving a stereo broadcast, »ST.« appears in the
display. If the signal from the stereo channel is weak, you can
improve the sound quality by switching to mono reception.
1 Press »RAND. )« on the remote control to switch to mono
reception.
– Display: »
ST.« disappears.
2 To switch back to stereo, press »RAND. )« on the remote
control.
