SMS
You can receive, read and delete SMS
messages.
If a new SMS has been received, an enve-
lope symbol appears on the right of the
status line.
SMS menu
̈ Call up the Telephone main menu
(
୴ Page 60).
̈ Press the SMS soft key.
The SMS menu is displayed.
Switching between Sender and Subject
You can have the incoming SMS displayed
with the sender or the subject. If you have
selected the sender, the telephone num-
ber is displayed.
̈ Press the Subject soft key.
The start of the SMS is displayed.
or
̈ Press the Sender soft key.
The sender’s phone number is dis-
played.
Selecting message
̈ Call up the SMS menu (୴ Page 71).
̈ By pressing c or d select a mes-
sage.
In the status line you will be able to see
when the message was received.
Reading message
̈ Select a message (୴ Page 71) and
press
p.
This displays the text of the message.

The caller’s number only appears if it is
transmitted.
