2 Select the portion of the time
display you wish to set with c/d.
Pressing c/d will select a portion of the clock
display:
HourMinute
As you select portions of the clock display the
portion selected will blink.
3 Select the correct time with a/b.
Pressing a will increase the selected hour or
minute. Pressing b will decrease the selected
hour or minute.
Switching the warning
tone
If the front panel is not detached from the
head unit within five seconds of turning off the
ignition, a warning tone will sound. You can
turn off this warning tone.
1 Press FUNCTION to select WARN.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until WARN ap-
pears in the display.
2 Select WARN on or off with a/b.
Pressing a/b will switch WARN between on
and off and that status will be displayed (e.g.,
WARN :ON).
Switching the auxiliary
setting
It is possible to use auxiliary equipment with
this unit. Activate the auxiliary setting when
using auxiliary equipment connected to this
unit.
1 Press FUNCTION to select AUX.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until AUX ap-
pears in the display.
2 Select AUX on or off with a/b.
Pressing a/b will switch AUX between on
and off and that status will be displayed (e.g.,
AUX :ON).
Switching the dimmer
setting
To prevent the display from being too bright at
night, the display is automatically dimmed
when the cars headlights are turned on. You
can switch dimmer on or off.
1 Press FUNCTION to select DIMMER.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until DIMMER
appears in the display.
2 Select DIMMER on or off with a/b.
Pressing a/b will switch DIMMER between
on and off and that status will be displayed
(e.g., DIMMER :ON).
Switching the rear output
setting
This units rear output (rear speaker leads out-
put and RCA rear output) can be used for full-
range speaker or subwoofer connection. If you
switch the rear output setting to the subwoo-
fer, you can connect a rear speaker lead di-
rectly to a subwoofer without using an
auxiliary amp.
! If you connect a subwoofer to the rearout-
put, set the output setting to subwoofer.
