The application description to delete can be one of the following as given by

:
1. The new application description was output to a VSAM file.
2. An existing application description whose valid-to date has been adjusted to create two versions. The update of
the new version failed.
3. The new application description. It could not be updated properly and is therefore to be deleted.
System action: None.
Problem determination: For reasons 2, and 3 the message log should also contain a message explaining why the
new application could not be updated, as well as a detailed description of the error.
User response: If the output is to a subsystem, the application description can be deleted using the Application
Description dialog. If the problem occurs again, report the error to your IBM representative.
