Making a timer-controlled
recording of a DAB programme
You can use this device to record a DAB
programme at a preset time. While the car
sound system is switched off, the DAB pro-
gramme played last (if it can be received)
is recorded for a specifi ed time (adjustable
from 1 to 90 minutes). You can programme
two timers.
Switching timer-controlled recording
on/off
In SD/MMC mode, press and hold
down the REC•DEL 9 for longer than
two seconds.
The MMC record menu is displayed. “MMC
REC ON” or “MMC REC OFF” appears on the
display.
Press the
or button 6 to switch
between the settings “MMC REC ON”
and “MMC REC OFF”.
Setting the timer and recording duration
You can programme two recording timers.
Note:
If you only want to make one recording
at a particular time, set the second tim-
er to the same time setting as the fi rst.
In SD/MMC mode, press and hold
down the REC•DEL 9 for longer than
two seconds.
The MMC record menu is displayed. “MMC
REC ON” or “MMC REC OFF” appears on the
display.
Press the
button 6.
The currently set recording “DURATION” is
displayed. The set recording duration is the
same for both timers.

To set the recording duration,
adjust the recording duration using the
/ buttons 6.
Press the
button 6.
TIMER 1 and the set clock time are dis-
played.
To adjust TIMER 1,
press the MENU•OK button 7.
The hours behind “TIMER 1” begin to fl ash.
Use the
/ buttons 6 to set the
hour at which you want recording to
begin.
To set the minutes for the start of record-
ing,
press the
button 6.
The minutes behind “TIMER 1” begin to
fl ash.
Use the
/ buttons 6 to set the
minute at which you want recording to
begin.
Press the MENU•OK button 7.
Note:
If you want to set the second timer,
press the
button 6 whilst “TIMER
1” is being displayed. “TIMER 2” is dis-
played. Adjust the settings for “TIMER
2” in the same way as described for
“TIMER 1”.
The settings are saved.
To close the MMC-RECORD menu,
press and hold down the REC•DEL 9
for longer than two seconds.
