Reconnecting
Automatic Reconnection
The unit has a built-in Auto-Reconnection function. Each time the PHONE button (25) is
pressed, the head unit will automatically reconnect with the mobile phone once (only if the
mobile phone was previously paired with the head unit).
Manual Reconnection
However, under the following conditions, you may need to reconnect manually:
• If the mobile phone is out of range (more than 2 meters from the head unit).
• If the connection is lost and while talking on the phone (or there is an incoming call) more
than 2 meters from the head unit.
• When doing an audio transfer from the phone back to the head unit.
The Bluetooth icon on the LCD and the PHONE button (25) blinks repeatedly when the
head unit loses connection with the paired mobile phone.
NOTE: The PHONE button stops blinking after a 4 minute time out.
To manually reconnect with the paired phone, perform the following steps, press and hold the
PHONE button (25) (only if the mobile phone was previously paired with the head unit).
The LCD displays “CONNECTING….” and continues to flash during the connection period.
If the reconnection is successful, the LCD Display displays “CONNECT OK” for 5 seconds. The
Bluetooth icon stops flashing and the unit automatically returns to the previous mode.
If the reconnection fails, the LCD display “Connect Failed” for 5 seconds. Press and hold the
PHONE button (25) again within 5 seconds to try to reconnect again. If a key is not pressed
