13-16 SUSPENSION
Swingarm
Swingarm Installation
○
Place the collar [A] on the stopper [B] inside the frame [C].
•
Insert the pivot shaft into the frame from the right side.
•
Tighten the pivot shaft so that the clearance [D] between
the collar and the frame come to zero mm.
•
Tighten:
Torque - Swingarm P ivot Shaft Nut: 108 N·m (11 kgf·m, 80
ft·lb)
•
Tighten the pivot locknut, using the socket wrench.
Special Tool - Swingarm Pivot Nut Wrench: 57001–1541
Torque - Swingarm Pivot Shaft Locknut: 98 N·m (10 kgf·m,
72 ft·lb)
•
Install the removed parts (see appropriate chapters).
Swingarm Bearing Removal
•
Remove:
Swingarm
Collar [A]
Grease S eals [B]
Sleeve [C]
Circlip (right side) [D]
•
Remove the ball bearing and needle bearings.
