“Preferred networks”
– Use this menu item to alter the priority
in the list of preferred network opera-
tors.
• Press / to make your selection
and press OK:
“Add network to list”:
– known networks
Press
/ to select the desired net-
work from the list of network opera-
tors, press OK. Give the network
most important to you priority 1. Se-
lect other networks of interest to you
and determine their sequence.
– new network
You can add a new network operator
to your preferred list (you will require
the operator’s network code).
“Show list of networks”:
You can display the list of networks by
pressing
/ .
Quit by pressing OK.
“Delete entry”:
You can delete any network operators
you do not require from the list.
• Confirm your selection (“Delete en-
try”) by pressing OK.
The display will indicate the position
in the priority list, the network code
and the name of the operator.
• Press
/ to select the network op-
erator you wish to delete and press
OK.
“Delete?” will appear in the display.
Press OK to delete the network opera-
tor from the list, press CL to cancel the
process.
“Move entry”:
You can move any of the entries in the
priority list (new sequence).
• Confirm your selection (“Move en-
try”) by pressing OK.
The display will indicate the position in
the priority list, the network code and
the name of the operator. If you want
to move an entry to another position,
• press OK.
“Priority?” will appear in the display.
• Now enter the number of the new
position by pressing the correspond-
ing selection buttons and press OK.
Cell Broadcast
Cell Broadcast is a short message service
which operates in numbered “channels”.
The channels transmit different special mes-
sages.
Request more detailed information and a list
of the available channels from your network
operator.
If Broadcast “On” has been selected, the
number of the channel on which you expect
to receive information must be entered af-
ter you have pressed OK.
