Playing an MP3 disc

Open the control panel.
The control panel moves down,
and the loading slot appears.

Insert an MP3 disc into the loading slot.
The unit draws the
disc, the control
panel goes back to
its previous position
(see page 33) and
playback starts
automatically.

Playback starts automatically from the first file
of the first directory once file check is completed.
Then, the display changes to show the
following:
• When “TAG DISP” is set to “ON” (initial
setting: see page 31)
* If an MP3 file does not have ID3 tags, album
name/performer and track title will be
skipped.
**When the source symbol animation display is
not selected.
• When “TAG DISP” is set to “OFF”
* When the source symbol animation display is
selected.
Notes:
• All the files on the disc will be played repeatedly
until you stop playback—All File Repeat Play.
• MP3 discs require a longer readout time**.
(It differs due to the complexity of the directory/file
configuration.)
** Readout time is the time taken by the unit to scan or
check the disc for files and file information.
CD-in indicator lights up.
Ex.: When the disc contains 13 directories and 125
MP3 files.
The display changes to show the following:
DIRECTORY
FILE
Directory name & File name
Album name/performer* & Track title*
Track title (File name)
&
Elapsed playing time (with track No.**)
Directory name & File name
File name
&
Elapsed playing time (with track No.*)
