! As the signal from your cellular phone may
cause noise, avoid using it when you arelis-
tening to songs on your Bluetooth audio
player.
! When a call is in progress on the cellular
phone connected to this unit via Bluetooth
wireless technology, the sound of the
Bluetooth audio player connected to thisunit
is muted.
! When the Bluetooth audio player is in use,
you cannot connect to a Bluetooth telephone
automatically.
! Playback continues even if you switch from
your Bluetooth audio player to another
source while listening to a song.
Even though your audio player does notcontain
a Bluetooth module, you can still controlit from
this unit via Bluetooth wireless technologyusing
a Bluetooth adapter (sold separately).
Setting up for Bluetooth audio
Before you can use the Bluetoothaudio function
you must set up the unit for usewith your
Bluetooth audio player. Thisentails establishing
a Bluetooth wireless connection between this
unit and your Bluetooth audio player,and pair-
ing your Bluetooth audio player with this unit.
Basic operations
Fast forwarding or reversing
1 Press andhold c or d.
Selecting atrack
1 Press c ord.
Starting playback
1 Press BAND/

Function settings
1 Press M.C. to display the mainmenu.
2 Turn M.C. to change the menu option
and press to select FUNCTION.
3 Turn M.C. to select the function.
After selecting, perform the following proce-
dures to set the function.
PLAY (play)
1 Press M.C. tostart playback.
STOP (stop)
1 Press M.C. tostop the playback.
PAUSE (pause)
1 Press M.C. toturn pause on.
Phone menu operation
Important
Be sure to park your vehicle in a safe place and
apply the parking brake when performing this
operation.

to display the phone menu.
2 Turn M.C. to select the function.
After selecting, perform the following proce-
dures to set the function.
MISSED (missedcall history)
DIALED (dialedcall history)
RECEIVED (receivedcall history)
1 Press M.C. todisplay the phonenumber list.
2 TurnM.C. to selecta name orphone number.
3 Press M.C. tomake a call.
! When youfind a phone numberthat you
want tostore in memory,press and hold
one of thepreset tuning buttons(1 to 6).
! Pressone of presetbuttons 1 to 6to recall
the desiredpreset number.
PHONE BOOK(phone book)
! The phonebook in your cellularphone will be
transferred automaticallywhen the phoneis
connected tothis unit.
! Depending onthe cellular phone,the phone
book maynot be transferredautomatically. In
this case,operate your cellularphone to trans-
fer thephone book. Thevisibility of this unit
should beon. Refer toVISIBLE (setting thevisi-
bility ofthis unit) on theprevious page.
1 Press M.C. todisplay SEARCH (alphabetical
list).
2 TurnM.C. to selectthe first letterof the name
you arelooking for.
! Pressand hold M.C.to select the desired
character type.
3 Press M.C. todisplay a registeredname list.
4 TurnM.C. to selectthe name youare looking
for.
5 Press M.C. todisplay the phonenumber list.
6 TurnM.C. to selecta phone number you want
to call.
! When youfind a phone numberthat you
want tostore in memory,press and hold
one of thepreset tuning buttons(1 to 6).
! Pressone of presetbuttons 1 to 6to recall
the desiredpreset number.
7 Press M.C. tomake a call.
PRESET1-6 (presetphone numbers)
1 Press M.C. todisplay the settingmode.
2 Use M.C. to selectthe desired presetnumber.
Turn tochange the menuoption. Pressto se-
lect.
! You can alsopress one of thepreset num-
ber buttons1 to 6to select a number.

off.
R.TONE (ringtone select)
1 Press M.C. toturn the ringtone on oroff.
PB INVT(phone book nameview)
1 Press M.C. toswitch between thelists of
names.
Audio adjustments
1 Press M.C. to display the mainmenu.
2 Turn M.C. to change the menu option
and press to select AUDIO.
3 Turn M.C. to select the audio function.
