! ARTIST –Plays an albumof the artist cur-
rently beingplayed.
! ALBUM –Plays a songfrom the album cur-
rently beingplayed.
! GENRE –Plays an albumfrom the genre cur-
rently beingplayed.
The selected song/album will be played after the
currently playing song.
Notes
! The selected song/album may be canceledif
you operate functions other than link search
(e.g. fast forward and reverse).
! Depending on the song selected to play, the
end of the currently playing song and the be-
ginning of the selected song/album may be
cut off.
Operating this unit’s iPod
function from your iPod
You can listen to the sound from your iPod appli-
cations using your car’s speakers, when
CTRL APP is selected.
! This function is not compatible with iPod
nano 1st generation.

Notes
! Switching the control mode to CTRLiPod/
CTRL APP pauses song playback. Operate
the iPod to resume playback.
! The following functions are still accessible
from the unit even if the control mode isset

! When the control mode is set to CTRLiPod,
operations are limited as follows:
— The functionsettings are notavailable.
— The browsefunction cannot beoperated from

Function settings
1 Press M.C. to display the mainmenu.
2 Turn M.C. to change the menu option
and press to select FUNCTION.
3 Turn M.C. to select the function.
After selecting, perform the following proce-
dures to set the function.
! When thecontrol mode isset to CTRL iPod/
CTRL APP, only PAUSEor S.RTRV isavail-
able.
REPEAT (repeatplay)
1 Press M.C. toselect a repeatplay range.

SHUFFLE (shuffle)
1 Press M.C. toselect your favorite setting.
! SNG –Play back songs inthe selected list
in randomorder.
