If your cellular phone features Bluetooth wire-
less technology, you can connect to this unit
for hands-free, wireless calls, even while driving.
Important
! Since this unitis on standby toconnect with
your cellular phonesvia Bluetooth wireless
technology, usingthis unit without running
the engine canresult in battery drainage.
! When phone isselected as a source,no audio
adjustments, except balanceadjustment, are
possible.
1 Batterystrength indicator
Shows the battery strength of cellular
phone.
! Battery strength indicator may differ
from the actual battery strength.
! If the battery strength is not available,
nothing is displayed in the battery
strength indicator area.
2 Signallevel indicator
Shows the signal strength of cellular phone.
! Signal level indicator may differ from the
actual signal level.
! Depending on the cellular phones featur-
ing Bluetooth wireless technology, radio
field intensity is not available. In this
case, the signal level indicator does not
appear.
3 Automaticanswering/Automatic reject-
ing indicator
Shows AUTO when the automatic answer-
ing function is on (for more details, refer to
Setting the automatic answering on page
47).
Shows REF when the automatic rejecting
function is on (for more details, refer to Set-
ting the automatic rejecting on page 47).
4 Incomingcall notice indication
Shows when an incoming call has been re-
ceived and not checked yet.
5 Devicename
Shows the device name of the cellular
phone.
6 Calendardisplay
Shows the date, and time.
7 User number indicator
Shows the registration number of the cellu-
lar phone.

! This units phonecall reception is onstandby
when ignition switchis set to ACCor ON.
! The line-of-sight distancebetween this unit
and your cellularphone must be 10meters or
less for sendingand receiving voice anddata
via Bluetooth wirelesstechnology. However,
the transmission distancemay become short-
er than theestimated distance, depending on
the environment inuse.
! In order touse Bluetooth wireless technology,
devices must beable to interpret certainpro-
files. This unitis compatible with thefollowing
profiles.
