Setting Interrupt Icon Display
(IN-INT)
The unit can display the icon of the external
device such as a telephone whenever a phone
call comes in to tell you there is a phone call.
NOTE
After carrying out the steps 1 to 3 of "To display the Setup
mode screen" described on page 40, perform the
operation show below.
1 Press the SOURCE button.
The main menu appears on the display.
2 Press the 6 (SETUP) button.
The Setup mode screen appears.
3 Rotate the rotary encoder and select "IN-INT."
The Function Guide is displayed.
4 Press 1 (TEL) button.
When the external device (telephone) sends the
interrupt signal, the telephone icon appears on
the display.
When the 2 (INT.) button is pressed, the INT
icon appears on the display.
NOTE
Immediately after inputting titles or changing the settings
of Setup Mode or Display Mode (While the system is
inputting the titles or data automatically) do not turn the
ignition key (engine key) to OFF.
Otherwise, the title may not be written, or the settings
may not be changed.
Interrupt Feature (MIX LEVEL)
With an Alpine navigation system connected to
the IVA-C801/CVA-1006, the voice guidance of
the navigation system will be mixed with the radio
or CD/MD play. You can adjust the volume level of
the voice guidance.
You cannot use this function with an external
amplifier.
NOTE
After carrying out the steps 1 to 3 of "To display the Setup
mode screen" described on page 40, perform the
operation show below.
1 Press the SOURCE button.
The main menu screen appears on the display.
2 Press the 6 (SETUP) button.
The Setup mode screen appears.
3 Rotate the rotary encoder and select "MIX
LEVEL."
The Function Guide is displayed.
4 Press the 2 (DOWN) or 3 (UP) button to adjust
the volume level of the navigation system's voice
guidance in 7 steps.
To turn off the navigation interrupt mode, press
the 1 (OFF) button.
5 Press the FUNC (RETURN) button to return to
the main menu screen.
