Thank you for purchasing a JVC product.
Please read all instructions carefully before operation, to ensure your complete understanding and to obtain the best
possible performance from the unit.
INFORMATION (For U.S.A.)
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part
15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in
a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does
cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment
off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
– Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

Warning:
If you need to operate the unit while driving, be sure to
look around carefully or you may be involved in a traffic
accident.
For safety...
Do not raise the volume level too much, as this will
block outside sounds, making driving dangerous.
Stop the car before performing any complicated
operations.
Temperature inside the car...
If you have parked the car for a long time in hot or cold
weather, wait until the temperature in the car becomes
normal before operating the unit.

If an HD Radio tuner box is connected, you can also
search and store the AM station automatically.
Manual presetting
Ex.: Storing FM station of 92.50MHz into preset number
4 of the FM1 band.

To listen to a preset station

Select “FM/AM.”

Select the bands.

Search for a station to listen—Auto Search.
Manual Search: Hold either one of the buttons until “M” flashes on the display, then press
it repeatedly.
When receiving an FM stereo broadcast with sufficient signal strength, “ST” lights up
on the display.
When an FM stereo broadcast is
hard to receive
Reception improves, but stereo effect will be lost.
“MO” lights up on the display.
To restore the stereo effect, repeat the same
procedure. “MONO OFF” appears and “MO” goes off.
FM station automatic presetting
— SSM (Strong-station Sequential
Memory)
You can preset up to six stations for each band.

Local FM stations with the strongest signals are
searched and stored automatically in the selected FM
band.
Preset number flashes for a while.
Selectaţi „FM/AM.”
Funcţionarea aparatului radio
Selectaţi
frecvenţele.
Căutaţi un post de radio – căutare automată.
Căutare manuală: ţineţi apăsată una dintre taste până când „M” luminează intermitent pe aşaj,
apoi apăsaţi tasta în mod repetat.
La recepţionarea unei emisii radio FM stereo cu semnal sucient de puternic, mesajul „ST”
apare pe ecran.
Când recepţionarea unei frecvenţe FM
stereo se realizează cu dicultate
Recepţia va  îmbunătăţită, dar se va pierde efectul stereo.
• Indicatorul „MO” se aprinde pe aşaj
Pentru a recupera efectul stereo, repetaţi această
operaţie. Este aşat mesajul „MONO OFF” şi indicatorul
„MO” se va stinge.
Presetarea automată a posturilor FM
— SSM (Strong-station Sequential Memory
- Memorarea secvenţială a posturilor cu
semnal puternic)
Puteţi preseta până la şase posturi pentru ecare bandă.
În timp ce ascultaţi un post FM...

apăsat]
Posturile FM locale cu cele mai puternice semnale sunt
căutate şi memorate automat în banda FM.
Dacă un radioreceptor HD Radio este conectat, puteţi
căuta şi memora posturile AM în mod automat.
Presetarea manuală
De exemplu: memorarea postului FM cu frecvenţa 92,50 MHz
la numărul de presetare 4 al benzii FM1.
