Operations Common to Each Mode
2. Touch on the setting item display to
select “HPF” under “SOUND” and “SUB-W
LPF” under “SOUND”.

3. Either touch on the right of the
display, or turn the [ROTARY] knob to set
the frequency.
* Select one of THROUGH, 50Hz, 80Hz,
and 120Hz.
4. Press the [A] button to return to the original
mode.
Setting internal amplifier use
ON/OFF (AMP CANCEL)
Set internal amplifier use ON/OFF matched to
whether or not an external amplifier is used.
Set AMP CANCEL to “ON(internal amplifier
use OFF) when an external amplifier is
connected and the internal amplifier is not used.
The factory default setting is “OFF” (internal
amplifier used).
1. Press the [A] button to set to the adjust
mode.
2. Touch on the setting item display to
select “AMP CANCEL” under “SOUND”.

3. Either touch on the right of the
display, or turn the [ROTARY] knob to select
ON” or “OFF”.
4. Press the [A] button to return to the original
mode.
Adjusting the output level of
the speakers (SP GAIN)
Use the test tone function built into this unit to
adjust so that the volume that is output from all
speakers is the same.
This item can be set only when the Dolby Pro
Logic II mode is set to “MUSICor “MATRIX”.
The factory default setting is “0dB”.
1. Press the [A] button to set to the adjust
mode.
2. Touch on the setting item display to
select “SP GAIN” under “SOUND”.

3. Touch EDIT.
The mode changes to the SP GAIN
adjustment mode.
4. Touch on the adjustment item display
to select the desired item.
Each touch of switches the
adjustment item as follows:

CTR GAIN” is displayed only when “SP-
SETTING” is set to “CTR+SW” and
CENTER-SP” is set to “ON”.

SUB-W GAIN” is displayed only when
SUB-WOOFER” is set to “ON”.
5. Either touch on the right of the
display, or turn the [ROTARY] knob to adjust
the output level.
The output level can be adjusted within the
range -10 dB to +10 dB
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to adjust each item.
7. Press the [A] button to return to the original
mode.
Adjusting the delay time of
the rear speaker
(PL II DELAY)
The timing that sound arrives at the listening
position differs according to the mounting
position of the rear speakers and the size of
your car. If you adjust the delay time of the rear
speakers, you can adjust so that sound from the
rear speakers can be heard at the same timing
as output from the front speakers.
