Digital Effect Setting Screen
Selecting the Dynamic Range
Select the dynamic range for Dolby Digital
sound.
Each time you touch [ D-Range ], the dynamic
range switches as follows:
" Standard "
For more powerful sound at regular volumes.
" OFF "
For regular sound.
Selecting the Multi Channel
Select the sound output speaker for Multi
channel PCM sound.
Each time you touch [ 2 ] or [ 3 ] to select the
speaker output as follows:
" 3/2 "
Center, Front and Rear speaker
" 2/2 "
Front and Rear speaker
" 3/0"
Center and Front speaker
" 2/0 "
Front speaker only
You cannot operate when “Dolby PL“ is set to
“OFF”.
Defeat (Crossover network/delay time)
Returns all of the DSP settings to the factory
default.
Touch [ DEFEAT ] it returns to the factory default.
Returning to the Sound Effect Menu
Screen
Touch [ RTN ] to return to the sound effect menu
screen.

Selecting the Digital Input Mode
Each time you touch [ Input Select ] to switch the
digital input mode as follows:
" Digital "
Optical digital input.
" Analog "
Analog input.
When playing DTS-encoded (CDs, DVDs),
excessive noise may be exhibited from the
analog stereo outputs. To avoid possible damage
to audio system, the consumer should take
proper pro-cautions when the analog stereo
outputs of the DVD player is connected to an
amplification system.
Using the DOLBY PRO LOGIC
Dolby Pro Logic is a technology developed by
Dolby Laboratories for the active decoding of
Dolby Surround encoded source.
Each time you touch [ Dolby PL ] to select Dolby
Pro Logic on and off .
Selecting the Acoustic Image
Each time you touch [ Bi Phantom ] to select the
acoustic image on and off .
You cannot operate when “Dolby PL“ is set to
“OFF”.
Turning the Center Output On/Off
Each time you touch [ Center SP ] to select center
speaker output on and off.
This select can be made when the 2 ch PCM
signal.
Turning the Sub Woofer Output On/Off
Each time you touch [ Sub Woofer ] to select sub
woofer output on and off.
