When playing back a WAV disc
% Press DISPLAY.
Press DISPLAY repeatedly to switch between
the following settings:
Play time—
: folder name and play time—
: file name and play time— : folder name
and
: file name
# If specific information has not beenrecorded
on a WAV disc,name is not displayed.
# You can onlyplay back WAV files inthe fre-
quencies 16, 22.05,24, 32, 44.1 and48 kHz
(LPCM), or 22.05and 44.1 kHz (MSADPCM). The
sampling frequencyshown in the displaymay be
rounded.
Scrolling text information
in the display
This unit can display the first 14 letters only of
folder name, file name, track title, artist name,
album title and comment. When the recorded
information is longer than 14 letters, you can
scroll the text to the left so that the rest of the
text information can be seen.
% Press DISPLAY and hold until the text
information begins to scroll through the
display.
The text information scrolls.
Notes
! Unlike MP3, WMAand AAC file format,WAV
files display onlythe folder name andthe file
name.
! When Ever Scrollis set to ONat the initial set-
ting, text information scrolls continuouslyin
the display. Refer to Switching the EverScroll
on page 80.
Selecting tracks from the
file name list
File name list lets you see the list of file names
(or folder names) and select one of them to
playback.
1 Press LIST to switch to the file name list
mode.
Names of files and folders appear in the dis-
play.
2 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select the de-
sired file name (or folder name).
Turn to change the name of file or folder;
press to play; push right to see a list of the
files (or folders) in the selected folder.
# You can alsochange the name offile or folder
by pushing MULTI-CONTROL up ordown.
# Toreturn to the previouslist (the folder one
level higher), pushMULTI-CONTROL left.
# If the folder/file numberis more than100, last
2-digit of the folder/filenumber is displayed.
# Number of thefolders/files in the currentlyse-
lected folder will beindicated on the rightside of
the display.
# If you do notoperate the list withinabout 30
seconds, the filename list mode iscanceled
automatically.
