You can use this unit to control a separately
sold portable audio player featuring Bluetooth
wireless technology (Bluetooth audio player).
Even though your audio player does not con-
tain a Bluetooth module, you can still control
it from this unit via Bluetooth wireless technol-
ogy using a Bluetooth adapter (sold sepa-
rately).
Important
! This unit cancontrol a Bluetooth audioplayer
via A2DPor AVRCP profile. Bluetooth audio
players (or Bluetooth adapters) compatible
with those profilescan be connected to this
unit.
— A2DP profile(Advanced Audio Distribution
Profile): Only playing backsongs on your
audio player ispossible.
— AVRCP profile (Audio/Video Remote Con-
trol Profile): Playing back,pausing, select-
ing songs, etc.,are possible.
! Since there area number of Bluetoothaudio
players available onthe market, operations
with your Bluetoothaudio player using this
unit vary in great range.Please refer to thein-
struction manual thatcame with your Blue-
tooth audio playeras well as thismanual
while operatingyour player on this unit.
! Information about songs(e.g. the elapsed
playing time, songtitle, song index, etc.)can-
not be displayedon this unit.
! While you arelistening to songs onyour Blue-
tooth audio player, please refrainfrom operat-
ing on yourcellular phone as muchas
possible. If youtry operating on yourcellular
phone, the signalfrom your cellular phone
may cause anoise on the songplayback.
! When you aretalking on the cellularphone
connected to thisunit via Bluetoothwireless
technology, the song playbackfrom your Blue-
tooth audio playerconnected to this unitis
muted.
! Even if whileyou are listening to songon your
Bluetooth audio player youswitch to another
source, the playbackof song continuesto
elapse.

Shows the Bluetooth wireless connection

4 Bassboost indicator
Shows the bass boost level.
! About the bass boost, refer to Boosting
the bass on page 74.
% Press SOURCE to select Bluetooth audio
player.
