OVERALL LENGTH:
The first word in a response packet is the Overall
Length. This 2-byte value indicates the total
number of words in the response (including this -
the Overall Length field). Length will always be at
least six words (0x0006).

COUNTER:
The MSB of the second
word holds the single-
byte
RF Error Counter
.
This value identifies the
number of times RF
transmission failed or
could not be completed
for this command.
COMMAND ECHO /
ERROR CODE:
The
Command Echo
is
returned in the LSB and
displays the Hex value
of the executed
command.
When an error occurs,
the LSB will hold a
single byte

(Node ID
Echo) 0x01
INSTANCE COUNTER:
The MSB of word 03
contains the
Instance
Counter.
This single-
byte value is
incremented by one
following each response
(range = 0x00 to 0x7F).
Cycling power to the
unit resets this counter
to 0x00.
NODE ID ECHO:
The LSB of the third
word,
Node ID Echo
,
retrieves the Node ID of
the antenna that
executed the command
(this value will always be
0x01 for the HS500E).

(RFT1) (RFT2)
RF TIME:
Word 04 of a response packet contains the
RF
Time.
This two-byte value
indicates the portion of
the Timeout Value (set in the Command Packet)
that remains after the completion of the command
(see Total Time below).
RF TIME = (TIMEOUT VALUE - TOTAL TIME)
