Setting remote control
code type
Changing the remote control operation switch
to DVD mode enables you to operate the built-
in DVD player with the supplied remote con-
trol. There are three remote codes for DVD
mode, code type A, code type B and code type
AVH. However, when operating this unit, use
the code type AVH only.
! With this unit, code A and B cannot be
used.
1 Set the remote control selection switch
on the left side of the remote control to
the appropriate position with a pen tip or
other pointed instrument .
! If you select AVH mode, thereis no need to
take the following procedure.
! If you select A/B and if in caseyou need to
operate other Pioneer units (may be avail-
able in the future),take the following proce-
dure and change thecode type to the
appropriate type.
2 Press 0 and CLEAR on the remote con-
trol simultaneously to change the code
type.
Initially, the code type is set to A. Each time
you press 0 and CLEAR simultaneously on the
remote control the code type switches be-
tween A and B.
Using the preprogrammed
function
You can operate the preprogrammed functions
for each source by using PGM.
! In order to use PGM button for prepro-
grammed function, the remote control op-
eration mode switch should be set to AVH.
% Press PGM to turn pause on when se-
lecting the following sources:
! DVD-V – Built-in DVDplayer
! M-CD – Multi-CD player
! iPod – iPod
! BTAudio – Bluetooth Audio
# To turn pauseoff, pressPGM again.
% Press PGM and hold to turn BSM on
when selecting TUNER as the source.
Press PGM and hold until the BSM turns on.
# To cancel thestorage process, press PGM
again.
% Press PGM and hold to turn BSSM on
when selecting TV as the source.
Press PGM and hold until the BSSM turns on.
# To cancel thestorage process, press PGM
again.
