You can use this unit to control a TV tuner (e.g.
GEX-P5750TV(P)), which is sold separately.
For details concerning operation, refer to the
TV tuner’s operation manual. This section pro-
vides information on TV operations with this
unit which differs from that described in the
TV tuner’s operation manual.
Important
Depending on theTV tuner connected to this
unit, some functions maynot be operable. For de-
tails, refer to theTV tuner’s operation manual.
1 Sourcename
Shows the selected source name.
2 Sourceicon
Shows which source has been selected.
3 Band indicator
Shows which band the TV tuner is tuned to.
4 Presetnumber indicator
Shows which preset has been selected.
5 Channel indicator
Shows which channel the TV tuner is tuned.
6 Presetlist display
Shows the preset list.
1 Touch the source icon and then touch
TV to select the TV.
# When the source iconis not displayed, you
can display it bytouching the screen.
2 Touch the screen to display the touch
panel keys.
3 Touch BAND to select a band.
Touch BAND repeatedly until the desired band
is displayed, TV1 or TV2.
4 To select a preset channel, touch LIST to
display preset channels and touch a desired
preset channel.
The preset channel you selected is tuned in.
5 To perform manual tuning, briefly
touch c or d.
The channels move up or down step by step.
# You can also perform manual tuning bypress-
ing c or d buttonor moving the joystickon the
remote control left or right.
6 To perform seek tuning, keep touching
c or d for about one second and release.
The tuner will scan the channels until a broad-
cast strong enough for good reception is
found.
# You can cancel seek tuningby briefly touching
either c or d.
# If you keep touching cor d you can skip
broadcasting channels. Seektuning starts as
soon as you releasethe keys.
# You can also perform seek tuning bypressing
and holding c ord button or holding the joystick
on the remote controlleft or right.
Note
If you do not usethe touch panel keys within 30
seconds, they will behidden automatically.
