Frequent loading and ejecting ofa DualDisc may re-
sult in scratches on thedisc. Serious scratches can
lead to playback problems onthis unit. In some
cases, a DualDisc may become stuck in thedisc load-
ing slot and willnot eject. To prevent this, werecom-
mend you refrain from usingDualDisc with this unit.

DualDiscs.
JPEG picture files
JPEG is short for JointPhotograph ic Experts Group
and refers to astill image compression technology
standard.
Files are compatible withBaseline JPEG and EXIF 2.1
still images up to aresolution of 8 192 ×7 680. (EXIF
format is used most commonly with digital still cam-
eras.)
Playback of EXIF format files that wereprocessed by a
personal computer may not bepossible.
There is no progressive JPEGcompatibility.
DivX video files
Depending on the composition of thefile information,
such as the number ofaudio streams or file size,
there may be a slightdelay when playing back discs.
Some special operations may beprohibited due to
the composition of the DivX files.
Only DivX files downloaded froma DivX partner site
are guarantee for proper operation.Unauthorized
DivX files may not operateproperly.
DRM rental files cannot beoperated until playback is
started.
This unit corresponds to aDivX file display of up to
1590 minutes 43 seconds. Searchoperation beyond
this time limit isprohibited.
Recommended file size: 2Mbps or less with a trans-
mission rate of 2GB or less.
The ID code of thisunit must be registered to aDivX
VOD provider in order toplayback DivX VOD files. For

! When naming a JPEG image file, add the cor-
responding filename extension (.jpg, .jpeg, .
jpe or.jfif).
! This unit plays back files with these filename
extensions (.jpg, .jpeg, .jpe or .jfif) as a JPEG
