Set this

to supply
power

receiver.
There
will
be
a short
delay
when
it
is
set
to ON,
because
the
muting
circuit
has
been
actuated
to
suppress
the
unpleasant
noise
that
is
sometimes generated
when
the
power
is
switched
on
and
off
.

terminals

panel.
You
can depress
both
of
these
buttons
to listen
to
the
sound

BRIGHT:
When
using
the receiver

This
meter
allows
you
to read
out
the rated
power
level
on
the
fluorescent
display
tube
when
speakers
with
a
nominal
impedance
of

are
connected
to the
speaker
terminals.

the
broadcasting
stations.

This

lights
up
after
the
optimum
tuning
point

up
when
receiving
an FM
stereo
program
if
the FM
muting
off
switch
is
released.

INDICATOR
This indicator
lights
in
sequence
from
left
through
right
during
the
tuning
of
an AM
or
FM
broadcast
in
accord-
ance
with
the
strength
of
the
signals
being
received.
The
optimum
tuning
point
is
where
the
maximum
number
of indicators
light.

the
center
indicator
lights

When
the left

come
on. rotate

change

is released

FM
broadcast
tuned
in,
the muting
circuit
is
activated
inside

suppress

frequencies

away
or when
receiving
a station
in a
fringe
area,

to

position
and
then
