Operation of JPEG in a USB storage device is
the same as JPEG on a disc.
1 Sourceicon
Shows the media type currently playing.
2 Folder number indicator
Shows the folder number currently playing.
3 Filenumber indicator
Shows the file number currently playing.
! Last four-digit can be displayed as the
file number.
4 Playtime indicator
Shows the elapsed playing time of the cur-
rent file.
5 Songinformation
Shows detailed information of currently
playing song.
1 Touch the source icon and then touch
USB to select the USB.
# When the source iconis not displayed, you
can display it bytouching the screen.
# Touch Hide to hide the touchpanel keys.
2 Touch a or b to select a folder.
# You cannot selecta folder that does not have
a compressed audiofile recorded in it.
3 To skip back or forward to another
compressed audio file, briefly touch o or
p.
Touching p skips to the start of the next file.
Touching o once skips to the start of the
current file. Touching it again will skip to the
previous file.
# You can alsoperform fast reverse/fast forward
by pressing and holdingc or d (TRACK).
4 To perform fast forward or reverse,
keep touching o or p.
# You can alsoskip back or forward to another
file by pressing cor d (TRACK).
Notes
! Optimum performance of this unit may notbe
obtained depending onthe connected USB
portable audio player/USBmemory.
! If folder 01 (ROOT)contains no files, playback
commences with folder02.
! If an error messageor icon is displayed, refer
to Error messages onpage 89.
! When the USB portableaudio player having
battery charging function is connected tothis
unit and the ignitionswitch is set to ACC or
ON, the battery is charged.
! You can disconnect the USB portable audio
player/USB memory anytime you wantto fin-
ish listening to it.
! If USB portable audioplayer/USB memory is
connected to this unit,the source is changed
to USB automatically. If you do not use an
USB device, disconnect it from this unit. De-
pending on the connectedUSB device, turn-
ing on the ignitionswitch while USB device is
connected to this unitmay change the source
automatically.
! If the characters recordedon the audio file are
not compatible withthis unit, those charac-
ters will not bedisplayed.
! Text informationmay not be correctly dis-
played depending onthe recorded en-
vironment.
