To users of the CC-13/13A RS-232C cable supplied by Pioneer
RS-232C control may not work when using the CC-13/13A RS-232C cable supplied by Pioneer.
Check your RS-232C cable as described below before using it. If this check shows the cable is a CC-13/13A or an
equivalent cable, replace the cable.
For details on replacement cables, see Serial interface specifications (page 64).
Procedure for checking whether your cable is a CC-13/13A
Procedure: Check whether pin 4 on the 15-pin connector (DB15) and pin 4 on the 9-pin connector (DB9) are
conductive. If they are, use a replacement cable.
