Definitions terms:
Figure 60: Pixel and subpixel definition
• Subpixel: 1/3 of the area of a pixel. Consists of an R, G or B filter.
• Bright pixel/subpixel: Number of always-lit pixels/subpixel
• Dark pixel/subpixel: Number of always-unlit pixels/subpixel
• Bright defect subpixel: bright defect area is 25% of subpixel brightness at black
• Black defect subpixel: bright defect area is 75% of subpixel brightness at white
