• Dolby late night -
this mode oers intelligent moderation of the dynamic
range in Dolby Digital recordings. is is especially useful when you want
to watch a movie in the evening, but are concerned about disturbing the
neighbors or others in the household who might prefer to be sleeping during
your action movie. is feature is specic to Dolby Digital soundtracks and is
grayed out, or unavailable, when listening to other surround formats. If turned
on, it will remain on until either being turned o or the input is changed.
It de-activates for non-Dolby Digital sources (such as may happen during a
commercial) and re-activates when the Dolby Digital signal reappears..
• reset trims - allows you to reset the system trims back to the values
reected in the Setup menu for that input. NOTE: is is NOT a factory
default command.
configuration select TouchingtheConguration option opens the Conguration Select page, which
allows you to select the current conguration you want to activate.
Congurations, which reect the speaker setup of your system, are dened and
may be renamed in the Setup Menu. e Conguration Selection page allows
you to choose from the up to six dierent system congurations available with
the SSP.
For example, you might use dierent congurations that you call stereo and
movies for conguring the system for full-range two-channel versus multi-
channel with subwoofer(s). Conveniently you may even use congurations to
optimize levels and distances for dierent listening positions.
For more information regarding the Conguration setup, refer to the Menu
System section.
