TIM - Traffic Information Memory
The unit contains a digital speech memory which can automatically record up to
14 traffic messages with a maximum duration of four minutes.
Depending on the length of the new message, the oldest messages will be dele-
ted.
If a message is longer than four minutes, it will not be recorded in its entirety.
OVERFLOW appears in the display.
If a new traffic message arrives whilst you are playing TIM, playback will be
interrupted and the new message recorded.

An automatic electric car antenna will remain extended if TIM is activated and
you turn the unit off.
Damage may result from an extended car antenna in a car wash.

Recording traffic information
Whilst the unit is switched on, traffic information is recorded automatically if a
traffic information station is received.
If TIM is activated, traffic information will be recorded whilst the unit is switched
off. You can choose whether you want traffic information to be recorded for 2 or
24 hours.
If you are listening to a station that does not broadcast traffic information and
you switch the unit off whilst the TIM function is turned on, the unit will automa-
tically search for a traffic information station.
