Messages for Audio Functions
When problems occur in the audio source, a message may appears on the display. Refer to the
table below to identify the problem, then take the suggested corrective action. If the error persists,
contact your dealer or your nearest Pioneer Service Center.
Built-in DVD drive
Message When What todo (See)
Unreadable disc If you try to usea disc whichis in-
compatible with thissystem.
Insert asuitable disc.
If you insert adisc upside down. Insert thedisc withthe label upward.
If the disc is dirty. Clean the disc.
If the disc is cracked orotherwise
damaged.
Insert anormal, round disc.
Mechanical failure ofDVD drive oc-
curs.
Consult your Pioneer dealer.
Playback error. Please remove
the disc.
Electrical or mechanical errorhas
occurred.

Region codeerror The disc doesnot have the same re-
gion number as the navigation sys-
tem.
Replace the DVD-Video with onebearing the
correct region number.
Playback errordue to irregu-
lar temperature.Pleasere-
move thedisc.
The temperature ofthe built-in DVD
drive exceeds the operating limits.
Park your vehicle in safeplace, turn the igni-
tion switch off, andwait until thebuilt-in DVD
drives temperature returnsto within normal
operating limits.
ATTENTION! Viewing offront
seat videosource while driv-
ing isstrictly prohibited.
Parking brake interlock isactivated. Park yourvehicle in the safe placeand apply
