FPL AND NRST PAGES
There are also several pages which are selected first by pressing the FPL Key or
NRST Key.
Selecting the FPL or NRST Pages:
1)
Press the FPL or NRST Key.
2)
Turn the FMS
Joystick until the desired page is selected.
3)
Press the EXIT Softkey to return to the Main Pages.
The Nearest Pages contain the following information.
•APT (Airport)—identier, bearing, distance, length of the longest runway, and
common traffic advisory (CTAF) or tower frequency.
•VRP (Visual Reporting Point) (Atlantic Unit Only)—identier, bearing, and
distance.
•WX (Airport Weather)—identier,bearing,distance,METARtext(GPSMAP696
only), and ATIS, AWOS, or ASOS frequency.
•VOR (VHF Omnidirectional Radio Beacon)—identier, facility type (symbol),
bearing, distance, and frequency.
•NDB (Non Directional Beacons)—identier, facility, type (symbol), bearing,
distance, and frequency.
•INT (Intersection)—identier,bearing,anddistance.
•USR (User Waypoints)—name,bearing,anddistance.
•CTY (City)—name,bearing,anddistance.
•ATC (Air Route Traffic Control Center)—bearing,distance,andfrequency.
•FSS (Flight Service Station)—name, bearing, distance, frequency, and VOR (if
applicable).
•ASPC (Airspace)—name,timetoentry(whenapplicable),andstatus.
