Adjusting loudness
Loudness compensates fordeficiencies in the
low-frequency and high-frequencyranges at low
volume.
1 Press the homebutton to switch tothe
home display.
2 Touchthe audio function key toopen the
audio menu.
3 Touchc or d to select adesired level for
loudness.

Using subwoofer output
This unit isequipped with a subwoofer output
which can beturned on or off.
! Thecut-off frequency andoutput level can be
adjusted when thesubwoofer output is on.
1 Press the homebutton to switch tothe

2 Touchthe audio function key toopen the
audio menu.
3 TouchSubwoofer on the audio function
menu.
4 TouchOn or Off next toSubwoofer to
turn the subwooferoutput on or off.
5 TouchNormal or Reverse next toPhase
to select thephase of subwoofer output.
6 Touchc or d next to Levelto adjust the
output level ofthe subwoofer.
Range: +6to 24
7 Touchc or d next to Frequency to select
the cut-offfrequency.

Boosting the bass
You can boost thebass level.
1 Press the homebutton to switch tothe
home display.
2 Touchthe audio function key toopen the

Using the high pass filter
When you donot want low sounds fromthe sub-
woofer output frequencyrange to play from the
front or rearspeakers, turn on the HPF(high
pass filter). Onlyfrequencies higher than those
in the selectedrange are output from thefront
or rear speakers.

2 Touchthe audio function key toopen the
audio menu.
3 Touchc or d next to thefrequency to se-
lect cut-offfrequency.

Adjusting source levels
With SLA (sourcelevel adjustment), the volume
levels of eachsource can be adjusted toprevent
significant differences betweensources.
! Settingsare based onthe FM volume level,
which remains unchanged.

home display.
2 Touchthe audio function key toopen the
audio menu.
3 Compare the FMvolume level with the
level of thesource you wish toadjust.
4 TouchSource Level Adjuster on theaudio
function menu.
5 Touch
or to adjust the sourcevol-
ume.

Notes
! SourceLevel Adjusteris not available when
FM is selectedas the source.
! TheAM volume levelcan also be adjusted
with this function.
! VideoCD, CD,compressed audio, DivX,
MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 are automati-
cally set tothe same source level adjustment
volume.
